The project is structured around three axes. To improve efficiency, the project is organized in two layers: A layer of research projects ready to start (See Projects Speech in bilingual Parkinson’s disease patients and Vowel variation in conversational speech) for which data and experimental protocols are already available or defined. A more generic’ layer’ (Mostly in Axis 1) dealing with tools and methodologies for handling language variation across sites. The work conduced at this layer is twofold. At scientific and technological level, the work consists in developing and sharing the tools, the linguistic resources and methodologies for productive and efficient work on language variation.
